FOZ DO ARELHO, CALDAS DA RAINHA
March 2025
Installation of 15 geocylinders with a diameter of 1.6 meters and a length of 25 linear meters each, and 1 geocylinder with a diameter of 1.6 meters and a length of 15 linear meters, as part of the coastal protection and rehabilitation works of the Foz do Arelho submarine outfall. The geocylinders were installed along the beach section to protect the terrestrial part of the outfall against erosion and ensure its structural stability while maintaining the normal operation of the discharge system..
CORTEGAÇA, OVAR
July 2023
Installation of one geocylinder with a diameter of 5 meters and a length of 25 linear meters
COVA GALA BEACH, FIGUEIRA DA FOZ
August 2021
The dune reconstruction of Cova Gala beach included the installation of 7 geocylinders, with 4 meters in diameter, covering around 75 linear meters. It was a restoration and stabilization work in order to reinforce the structure of a first intervention carried out in 2018.
FURADOURO BEACH, OVAR
May 2018
The dunar reconstruction of Furadouro Beach was developed in 2 phases, the first at north of Furadouro beach and the second phase on the south side – Torrão do Lameiro. In the transition zones of dune cord were placed 4 geocylinders with a diameter of 4 meters and 50 linear meters length.
VAGUEIRA BEACH, AVEIRO
December 2017
Reinforcement of Vagueira Beach’s dune, through the application of a geocilinder with 4 m of diameter and 50 m of length, placed in the middle of transversal profile.
OFIR SANDBANK, ESPOSENDE
August 2015
Installation of 20 geocylinder with 5m diameter on both sea and river side of the sandbank. Each geocylinder length ranged between 20 and 50 linear meters in, with an overall length of 540 linear meters. 14 cylinders were installed on the ocean line along an extension of 111 linear meter divided in 3 layers.
CORTEGAÇA, OVAR
December 2014
Installation of 2 geocylinder with 5m diameter and length of each geocylinder ranging between 20 and 22 linear meters.
